I'm a Muslim, and when I see Muslims murdering innocents, I am simply sickened to my stomach. Shouting out "God is great!" does not qualify a person to be a Muslim. One must act within the true spirit of Islam, which is peace and tolerance, using violence only when one is being oppressed and all other means of solving a problem have not worked.

The old testament of the bible clearly portrays a world devoid of God's sanctifying grace, so it's no wonder much of it seems like something right out of hell.
The simple fact is, all of the people of old were separated from God by grievous sin ... some more than others ... and none of them deserved anything from God but his righteous anger (wrath).
Still, God chose one relatively insignificant, generally faithless, and stiff-necked people through which to send his son and redeemer.
And once that redemption was accomplished, God's grace flowed, and the world was forever changed.
That's why we justifiably condemn evil acts in today's world, no matter what the source.
Anyone who commits such acts today, in spite of the abundant availability of God's grace, surely does evil which greatly exceeds all the crimes of the old testament, simply because the people of those times never really knew God.
Today, it's only the continuing worship, prayer, and devotions of the world's faithful, through God's very own church, which act to delay the chastisements we all deserve for our many sins, and which continue cry out to heaven for judgment.

Very few, if any, people condone mass murder or war in any form. However, it happens. History is full of it whether biblical or not. Point is this, Can't handle it? If you can stop a war, stop one. If not, get a helmet then shoot yourself in the face.

The only reason Israel was ever ordered by God to kill a group of people was to take or defend what land was rightfully theirs, and also to carry out God's judgment on incredibly evil people such as the Amorites. Israel was never to spread the faith by the sword, only to protect God's people in the land, like the example you gave in another question about 2 Kings 9-10, in which Jehu was ordered to kill Ahab and his family, one reason being that Ahab had tried to kill one of God's prophets, Elijah.
Muslims spread their faith by the sword and say convert or die. Israel never did forcible conversion (in fact, they were to make an offer of peace before attacking any city), and they only fought when they had to. And Christians today no longer do that because we are under a New Covenant. We are supposed to spread the faith and give people a chance to be saved from hell by witnessing and loving.

i think they are reading BIBLE from this quotes..........
Death to Followers of Other Religions
Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed. (Exodus 22:19 NAB)
Kill Nonbelievers
They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)
most probably Hitler and other christian leaders has learnt something from above quotes ....

Its not murder if God commands it, its justice.
We can condemn the actions of Islam because they are following the teachings of Jesus which do not militarize the church. Muhammads life and writings though do militarize Islam and they are misled.

that is humorous those who declare we are indirectly not well worth to question "God". What we are questioning is the writings of guy that of route do not describe God in the journey that they are so filthy. i imagine extra people might want to count number on God if it weren't for the filthy Bible. and that i imagine that is a tremendous signal that we as people can reject such undesirable morality without commandments from on severe.
