My 7 month old puppy has a fever. I know that the norm is 101-103 degrees. She has been sick lately, she has just finished her 2rounds of anitbiotics given from the vet. I just hate to call him up if there is something that I can do here at home to reduce the fever. It's not that high, but yet she has not been herself and and she is very very weak. I am open to suggestions!

Call the vet if you can. place ice packs on the insides of her rear legs on her femerol arteries to lower her temp. This is how we treat heat stroke dogs at the vet. But, if she is very weak something else is going on. Request more blood work. Hope this helps.

CALL YOUR VET!! .. If the pup is on antibiotics and is still running a fever and is still weak then maybe the vet didn't give the antibiotic that is taking away what is making the pup ill in the first place.. This is a DVM question. Call your vet before your pup gets worse.. good luck.

This is the system for coaching a puppy. a million. Exercise two. Discipline three. Affection in that order. Labs want extra recreation than the normal puppy. Probably ninety mins to one hundred twenty mins an afternoon, a few of it spend strolling. Now a option to reduce that point in part is to shop for a doggie again-percent. You positioned water bottles on them and it offers the puppy some thing with genuine weight to convey. They get worn out quicker. I am studying all of this when you consider that I begin puppy coaching university quickly. A option to get him to return is twofold. a million) Give him the recreation I acknowledged to put on him out You see, if he does not get his vigor out he's going to desire to run in all places the situation. Then use whistle coaching to educate him the come command. Start with asking him to return, giving a deal with. Then transfer him again extra and extra till he's some distance away however leashed. You can discover one hundred toes leashes. It takes plenty of endurance however we will be able to all have the ultimate puppy. Consistency is most important. Good success to your lab. I used to have a black one. So lovely

If there is an emergency veterinary hospital in your area, give them a call. They are usually very helpful. If your pup's fever rises, I would call the vet or get her to a vet ASAP.
