Yes they do. I think it's cute though. My cat is 7 yrs old, and every so often, she does it. I just love watching her have fun. ~~~

I am laughing at this one! I just rescued a 14 yr old cat and brought him into my home with my five adult cats. He is a paper freak! Has made a mess of my pile of monthly bills to be paid (somehow I don't think the power company will accept "the dog ate my homework" excuse!) He also likes to unroll the toilet paper.

When I had kittens I put the toilet paper in a wastebasket beside the toilet for a while and they didn't bother it there. So I am amazed that a 14 yr old cat would still like to do this.

So let the kittens have the fun of destroying a roll or two. If you cant' bear to see it "wasted" then sew up a cloth sack and stuff it in the sack for a toy. It won't be washable of course with the paper in it. Just take the paper out, wash it and put some catnip in it. Kittenhood , like childhood, is really brief and fleeting so have a sense of humor about what they are doing now. When they are older and napping peacefully most of the day you will look back on their kitten days with a great deal of nostalgia.

Haha, my kitten did the same thing. He is now just over a year old, and for the most part he has grown out of it. Once in a while, though, I will come home to a floor full of scraps of toilet paper!

Hide the toilet paper in the bathroom somewhere and than the kitten will forget about it and yes they do grow out of messing with things.. your kitten is just like a kid " out of sight, out of mind "

Close the bathroom door if it annoys you. Provide toys and play with your kitten. Make sure your kitten has a scratching post. Most cats love shredding paper and hiding in cardboard boxes. It's just what they do. Maybe your kit will grow out of it, maybe not. Meantime get the vacuum out.

Most of the time they do, but why would you want them to? They are so much fun to watch when they play. Just keep some in the cupboard for you and let the baby play. Remember, 15 weeks is still a baby. My 19 year old still use to unroll the the toilet paper because she liked to watch it. I miss having her here to watch her do it. Think of it as entertainment for both of you and enjoy.

i be attentive to there's a rest room paper roll conceal on the industry, that's a final hotel certainly. If flipping the roll to unwind any incorrect way (from the lower back) does not paintings, attempt wrapping slightly velcro around it to act as a cinch so it won't unwind. you will get some chewed edges, however the velcro would be undemanding to do away with once you'll be able to desire to apply the lavatory paper and merely isn't too lots of a worry.

LOL, yes they do...usually. When my cat did it I turned the tissue the other way, she got in position and tried a couple more times but the paper didn't react as it had before and she gave up. Usually once cats loose interest in a habit they don't go back. Leave it backwards for a couple weeks after she stops just incase she decides to dbl check and you should be set. - If that doesn't work you may have to go through kittenhood with closed bathroom doors. But I assure you, if it ain't easy...they give up. So, just don't make it easy for her/him.
Good Luck! Hope this helps... :)

They only grow out if it if you train the cat out of it. If a firm "No" and moving the cat away from the paper doesn't work, then use a spray bottle of water. Don't spray the cat in the eyes because that will just piss it off, but they will get the point if it ends up damp every time it tears up paper.

yea they grow out of this. Why do you leave the toilet paper in reach? If you dont like this keep it somewhere the cat cant get it...close your brathroom door.

LOL..........maybe. But I wouldn't count on it. don't leave dangling ends of the roll! Or put it on the toilet lid for now. Also, may need some more playtime and toys so she or he won't go after the paper!
