I have an idea to get my dog to stop chasing my cat. They are both boys and my dog, Rocky, put our cat, Radar, in the hospital. (He turned out to be okay, just a little freaked out and shocked.) I'm thinking that if I get a girl kitten, he can get used to it and eventually accept my kitty. What do you think?

It might work, but I personally wouldn't try it. The predecessors of dogs by instinct killed any weak, young, or very old creature that was not one of them. If you do try it, make sure you have your dogs restrained when you introduce the kitten to them, until you can be sure of how they react.

i became into instructed its a predatory concern. the dogs see them as a sort of prey, yet maximum dogs somewhat do not seem to be attentive to what to do with the cat whilst they get it, and different dogs won't bothercats in any respect. yet in asserting this.... My chum had 2 costly ragdoll cats that she continually saved in doorways. sooner or later, the older of the two have been given outdoors and became into mauled by making use of their dogs. i assume that's a territorial concern

No. Dogs that are Alpha Males, like your dog, will chase cats regardless of the gender. You will just be adding another animal to the hospital bills. My dog is an Alpha Male, too, and he chases and bites at our cat, too, but not as much as he used to. It takes time and patience on your part to get them to love one another.

I think you're daft - that's what I think.

As if a dog gives a woof what sex a cat is!
A cat is a cat is a cat is a cat - and they are for chasing.

They are not too sure what to do with one if they actually catch it - but hey, it's fun trying.

i believe u r stupid, no offense.

u must know that dogs will kill cats no matter what gender it is. as long as its a cat, it will be threatened to die.

if u want them to get along, you have to train them. u dont just let them turn out together, cuz it wont work, lady.
