Most certainly is not. We are in the new millennium now not back in the 1600's, so anything is pretty doable today. Actually a lot of guys nowadays are too shy or feel awkward to ask young ladies out because they are just as afraid of rejection as the young lasses. So my advice is for you to go for it.

No, it is just fine..
Go for it...
I have been asked out by women several times and I NEVER
say no , even if I am not interested in them because I
know that it was difficult for them to ask me out..
And I have occasionaly been surprised at how well the date
worked out...Of course I pay for everything unless it is just a burger or something and she insists..

Not at all! Go for it! A lot of guys love that. It shows confidence- one of the most attractive attributes a person could possess!
If you are sure about his feelings for you, then you have nothing to lose. No point in sitting in your room miserably pondering about his feelings for you! Juat ask him out!

If you can maintain that level of confidence throughout a relationship. Here's a perfect example; some girls will call but then not say anything as though they expect ME to do all the talking...You get me?

No, it's perfectly fine. If you're not too shy, go for it. Some guys might think that it's courageous on your part. I told my crush that I liked him, and that's when everything got very confusing.
