we have prayers.during the prayer time youths are given a chance to pray.one girl and a boy prays representing each group.so i go to the church and i got a chance to pray.and usually it is like the eldest one from both boys and girls group pray.its been 5 months i have been going there.i dont know ,now when at times when i wll be the eldest one among boys i am supposed to pray, but my pastor dont tell me to pray ,but instead he ask an extra person from the girls side to pray instead of one from the boys.is this right what he is doing.i am sure that i pray good, but i just dont pray long enough and may be ,i am not sur,i might be having some accent difficulty whie praying.is this why he is not letting me to pray.is it right from his side, dont he know that i feel bad,is it that he doeesnt care what i feel.what can i do.should i just pray without him asking me,so that i can show i dont care even if he doent give me the chance to pray, which actually is my right .or should i talk to him about

Well, that's religion for you. All caring, all inclusive.

You should gather courage and ask him and then tell him what you think of his answer and learn to listen very hard to what he says without quickly deciding that you understand what he has said. After sufficient time to consider what he has said, maybe minutes, maybe years, accept his opinion and cooperate. If you can do that, then at least you will know how to pray and that is all that really matters.

Perhaps because you are new he doesnt want to scare or push you into it. You would need to let you pastor know you are ready. :) Yes talk to your pastor! you may be thinking way off what they really feel for the reasons behind it. Just talk to him---:)

Talk to your pastor about this. Maybe he could "give you some tips".
