I slightly wash the meat that already comes in those white packs. Is this okay.....do you wash yours too? Does it have an effect?

I too rinse, one reason is if the meat had a bone in it bone fragments from the saw could be on it.

it's a good idea since sitting in blood makes meat spoil faster

this is probably a good thing to practice, but I dont do it all the time, and im just fine
but i always do it with chicken and turkey

some times yea just in case to make them cleaner and healthier i also cut fat off
