are there any plagiarism program online where I can submit my paper and check if I miss any of the sources that need to be quoted. In general, just a website where it can detect "plagiarism" in someone's essay/paper. Thanks.

Not really and I doubt there would be one that is foolproof. It would need to search every text in the world and many of them are not digitalized.

All the programs I've seen involve purchasing software that will run searches for you. A study concluded that Turnitin.com ($) seems to have a good one but it's only good for detecting plagiarism from the internet or from sources that the program has access to.

I looked at these 'free' ones and I didn't really see a place to effectively search your own paper. They are more like tutorials to prevent it:
"Understanding Plagiarism" module (Prentice Hall)
iParadigms
Purdue OWL

turnitin is staggering, yet you want a school web site license. it is too costly for individual use. don't fret with turnitin's trial. You verify merely some words--ineffective. attempt GOOGLE'S stepped forward seek.
