It not only stimulates the mind of a baby, but it helps them go to sleep. Sadly you have to take it down once the baby masters pulling up and standing.

Mobiles are nice, but my baby never really liked hers. SHe perfered a Lights & Sound Aquarium that was strapped to the crib rails.
