Since my children are all grown and on their own, I'd planned to adopt a family for Christmas instead of spending all of my money on them for those expensive gadgets. I budgeted myself 200 dollars each for them for Christmas and a few years ago, I thought, that money could be better served to a family who didn't have anything. I asked them what they thought and they all three nixed that idea. I should have ignored them, spent a small fraction on them since they all worked, and gave to a family.
I have time to find an organization that has a program like this - I can do it this year!

I was going to get a nursing degree and work with homeless people (psychiatric nursing) The stress was more then I could handle. I'd still like to run a shelter of some king though.

My husband and I were going to have a destination wedding in St. Thomas, but my husband's family talked us into a more typical wedding. Now (we've been married 5 years), we both agree that we should've had the wedding that we wanted and not what other people wanted.

When I was a small child I wanted to travel to the USSR and explain Jesus to Kruchev so he wouldn't use atom bombs and would stop the Cold War.

Get married and have children. Sometimes life just doesn't work out they way you'd planned.
