I have an itchy scalp with scales and scabs. Drives me nuts! I've tried everything over the counter with no positive outcome. Please help! Thanks.

Pure tea tree oil. It works great i have to use it for the same thing. You massage it,not too much into your scalp everynight till it is gone. After its gone just use the tea tree oil 1x per week to maintain a healthy scalp.

Go to the pharmacy and ask for a shampoo with coal tar in it. That should help. Alternatively get some rosemary (the herb) and make some strong tea with it. Just boil some water and steep the rosemary in it crushing it with the back of a spoon. Let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then strain it but keep the liquid. Throw away the rosemary. Then use it as a rinse after you wash your hair. If none of these work then you should go to the doctor as you probably have excema and will need a prescription.

Mix Listerine and water together in a spray bottle after washing your hair, lift up layers of hair and spray on your scalp. Do this for a few times a week and it should clear up. If not got see your doctor something might be wrong and you need some medicine for it.

When I was younger I had really bad dandruff, and it would often bleed as I would constantly scratch.

If you haven't tried it already try rinsing your scalp with listerine (massaging it into the scalp gently) daily while you are in the shower and then shampooing with a dandruff shampoo.

I use selson blue "dry scalp" daily as my only shampoo.

Any time I switch the dandruff comes back.

Hope this helps.

You better get something from BEHIND the counter instead cuz that sounds severe

Sounds icky and very embarrassing. It could be expensive, but it may be worth it to seek a dermatologist's opinion.
