For editing photos for use in Print media, I like PhotoShop the best.

But for editing graphics and photos for web use, I like Paint Shop Pro the best.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

Adobe Photoshop CS2 is an amazing photo editing software, not only you can edit.. But you can create pretty cool things like signatures and userbars you regularly use in forums..

However its VERY expensive.. So I'll advise you this site.. I think its legal but I know its download only and you dont get the cd and all..

or if you just want to buy it go to Adobe and the Photoshop family, or you can pick another software you want to buy that think will suite you better..

But most people will try and get it for free..

Also Adobe is a very hard software to learn, but its powerful.. If you want something for like familish, like removing red eyes from photo and such.. You can find a little downsized program like...
Adobe Photoshop Album Starter...

I am an amature photographer and I use IRFAN view for simple editing like resizing, cropping, or making panaramic photos. It is easy to use and it is free. For things like removing red-eye or adjusting color, I use the software that came with my HP Photosmart cameras. For anything else I use Adobe Photoshop. There is a free limited ability version available, but even that one requires a bit of technical knowledge.
