Yes. It is against the law to have unprotected sex if you know you have HIV. Or to give transfusions, or to do anything that will spread the HIV. There are a number of statutes covering this, not only in Indiana but almost everywhere in the civilized world.
There are public health statutes, and under the criminal code, knowingly exposing someone to HIV can be accounted as an assault.

Yep and if someone dies while you are still alive you will be charged with murder. And rightly so!
