i have been using this method for years and it hasn't failed me yet:

put a hot towel on it to draw it out, if it isn't already. pop it. make sure you squeeze everything out. it will bleed, so apply pressure until it stops. wash it. apply a dab of toothpaste (NOT gel) and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes. the zit will be gone the next day. if it has lingered, make sure you have squeezed it out entirely and wash and toothpaste again.

i swear this works wonders for me and is much cheaper than zit creams. i did it this morning and the zits are already nearly gone.

I used to get that type of pimple also. I never got a ton of them but I did seem to grow some whoppers from time to time. I can tell you that it's not easy to get rid of them and you may not want to do what I did but here goes:

First, when it would finally get that little white spot (a head) I would very carefully take a new needle dipped in alcohol and poke it straight down into the head. then I would slowly and gently squeeze it so that it didn't bruise or leave a scar. Usually the goop inside would come out pretty easily. (I know this is gross!) Once the goopy stuff came out it would then start to put out some clear stuff. Keep going on this too. Finally, it would start to bleed and it would just be blood. Then the infection stuff is out and you have done about all you can do. Be sure to wash and use alcohol on the spot. It WILL bleed for a while so just apply direct pressure to the spot for about 5 minutes and it will stop. Sometimes it can come back and you can do it again.

BE SURE that you don't squeeze a bruise onto your face. If it doesn't come out at first you can wait another day or try to poke deeper. It doesn't hurt and it worked for me for years. I don't have any scars. I was very self-conscious about these volcanoes I was growing and it was easier to explain a small red spot than go around with a parasitic twin growing out of my face.

Hope this helps!

The best product for getting rid of and preventing zits is different from person to person. Most respond well to Benzoyl Peroxide found in Clearasil and other generic versions of the same. Other products use Salicylic Acid in the form of a small scrub pad (also made by Clearasil and other brands). Beyond these products, there are a few things you may do to limit future outbreaks. Following a good wash, you may use an exfoliating scrub with micro beads or other organic matter. These are designed to clear dirt from pores which may fill up and get infected (zit). After that, wipe down your face with an astringent soaked cotton ball. One common astringent is Witch Hazel- which is supposed to tighten and tone pores after cleaning. Follow that with a non comedogenic (non clogging and non alergenic) moisturizing lotion such as Clean and Clear Oil Free Morning Glow Moisturizer with SPF 15 (inexpensive, available at Walmart and feels great) You may alternatively choose to use a system such as Proactive which includes the exfoliating scrub, astringent and a mositurizing lotion with a small amount of Benzoyl Peroxide in it. (However this is about $39.95 per kit).

Good luck!

There is tons of ways to get rid of zits.. there is just washing your face EVERY night before going to bed, and then in the morning, put on your skin color makeup over it and just cover it up until they go away. Plus, you can get wipes so that they just get rid of the zits.

Then, again, every teenager gets them. :]]

Hope that helps.
