I love the name Dakota. Think it goes very well with my other daughter Shayne. BUT I'd like to use the name Milana because that's the grandma's names together (millie and lana). I just don't think it sounds right together. What do you think? Any suggestions on how to make this work?

I wanted to use Dakota Milana or something like that. And it's supposed to be country. She'll be a cowgirl like her momma and sisters.

How about Dakota Mila or Dakota Lane? Or Milana with another middle name you like? You're right, Dakota Milana wouldn't be right at all!

Don't name your daughter Dakota, maybe its just me being a New Yorker but it doesn't instill the highest images in my mind, give her a name that will invoke a more postive image. Milana sounds like a better name and it also more femine. Personally I would go with Milana, but also feel free to name her Millie and make her middle name Lana or vice versa. Good Luck!

I don't think dakota goes well with Milana- but I do LOVE Milana- especially because it has meaning!!!
Try Hailey Milana, Averie Milana.... It's up to you and what you really want your baby's name to be.

The name does not have to go well with your other daughters name at all. I'll be honest but the name Milana makes me think of the popular cookies.

I like Milana. Maybe it doesn't sound right because you haven't gotten in the habit of calling both of your daughters together. I have a son Alex and another Toby and it was awhile before I got used to the names. Now I can't picture it not sounding perfect together.

Milana is absolutely beautiful. She is will make the name a country name, the name won't make her. Name your child the name you like, the name with meaning behind it.
Miliana is pretty, too.

I think Milana is beautiful-I love that name.I am pregnant with a boy-but if it was going to be a girl we were going to name her Alana-almost like Milana.Lovely name and it has meaning to you-I am sure the Grandmas would be so happy!
