Make sure the service centres for the passat are good - ours was awful - put us off completely. Build quality wasnt that great either.

Honda- Vw has issues with the Passat reliabilty over the long haul i.e. 5-7 years/ 125,000 + miles, something the Honda won`t.

It depends on if you want an automatic or manual. Honda makes a bad automatic tranny. So if you want an automatic, VW would be the way to go.

Honda's last a long time. longer than most other vehicles. so it depends on how long u plan on owning the car

go for the honda, it will be better and gives you great feeling when you drive it, smooth and cool :)
