why are Sikhs treated with so much disdain in your country?

MY ANSWER FOR THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA NOT TO KAMALJIT. SIKH IS WORRIER PEOPLE THEY ARE FAITHFUL TOWARDS THEIR COUNTRY AND RELIGION.
THEY CAN SACRIFICE THEIR LIFE IN THE FRIENDSHIP. IF AMERICAN ARE HAVING ANY MISUNDERSTANDING REGARDING SIKH, IT IS BAD LUCK OF AMERICANS

I think the Sikhs have had a hard time in America lately because they wear turbans and ignorant people think they are terrorists. I don't because I know what a Sikh is.

I know mostly it's because most people think that Sikhs are like Muslim extremists or something,they just stand out in a crowd and make easy targets I guess even though they seem pretty decent to me. As for the rest I don't really know that much about them,I mean is Islam even incorporated into their religion? I don't know.I just know when it comes to who I worry about being around I don't worry about them,all of them I've met seemed like good people.

Well, maybe it's me, but I don't really personally know any Sikhs in the US, but whoever is treating them like that really should grow up. They're just a mixture of the Hindu and Muslim religion, people!
