I'm 16.I live with my 3-year-old daughter S. and I'm pregnant in 6th month.S's father doesn't want to hear about us(and so we don't) and the baby I'm pregnant with doesn't have a father(we didn't know each other).I work on the internet, which helps me continue my studies and earn enough money to run the family.I'm writing here because I need someone who I can talk to,someone to share with.I don't have reliable friends and I just need someone who understands what it is like to live like that.My email is azsymthebest@yahoo.com May someone who can give me any advice on parenting write me?

Its always a good idea to have a support system for yourself as a mother, and especially as single mom.

You sound like you're doing an excellent job. Remember to always represent to your children what you want them to be. This includes avoiding friends who arent worth your time, and relationships with men who are worthless. Its hard to figure that out at 16, and even harder to figure it out at 16 when you're already grown up.

I didnt have kids at 16, but I took care of my dying grandparents, and finished school, raised my brothers... wen through a lot. And i can say that the best thing you can do it make very careful thoughful decisions about every single aspect and choice in your life.

Another great support idea is a church, or other similar organization.

I am really sorry to hear about your baby's dads. But i will give you some advice not to be mean or anything but you might want to try and get on birthcontrol after you have this baby. 16 with 1 kid has to be hard. Pretty soon it will be 2. And it will be harder for you. You dont want to make that 3 do you? Espeically if you have no help from anyone else!
