I don't think it's a male or female issue. Some people just have a hard time motivating themselves to get on time. Other people just can't budget their time well. It just depends on the person.

well some times girls are late too. and guys may be nervous. ever think about that. we try to impress you so you dont think we are total jerks or complete retards. and its like when people say the first impressions are most important. guys also have other things to do. perhaps a job or a LIFE.
