Stuck with my parents hand me down and I want make it bareable. : ) Or should I sell it? Its a 2000 Maxima SE w/ 49,000 miles. It was my mothers car and she only drove it back and forth to work and she drives like an old lady. Its got leather interior. Its got a Bose surround sound. Its got kick-a$$ base. Spoiler, fog lights, cruise. Its pearl white. Its in perfect condition. : ) What should I do?

Nothing is wrong with the car. I am either gonna sell it or get an aftermarket exhaust and I wanna know which would be the best for this car. I dont care about cost, I want the best sound. : )

I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima with just over 119,000 mi on it and it runs like new, since I kept it up since new... I have a cold air intake on it, High flow CAT and High Flow CAT Back Exhaust on it... So it has the extra b@ll's when I need it, but I drive it like a grandma most of the time, unless I get the little 4 bangers that think they have something messing with me that is :)
That car will do you good, don't get rid of it... Just take some time and do a little tuning to it and it would make a great driver and or sleeper like mine is... I got all my parts off the net and installed them myself, but I am also a gear head... (Grew up in the garage with my Dad.) So I am not your average girl... :)
If you need more info on what to look for if you think you can do your install yourself, just let me know... Or if you have someone that knows what they are doing who is willing to help, go for it... If not, you will be paying a lot to have a shop do it... Since they know they can charge all they like and get it from the people who don't know what they are doing...

I would go with Rick's suggestion. Stillen is very well known for their work with Nissans.
Other good exhausts for your car is HKS and Greddy.
Your Maxima is a great car to begin with. If you stick an exhaust on it just so you can get the low growl. All you are really doing is ricing it and yourself out. Don't go this direction unless you're planning on doing more modifications to it for the speed and performance.

fix the exhaust depending on what people charge but for like my self at my shop you would pay probably 380-400 for labor and parts. Fix the car its worth it

so why would putting a exhaust on it make it better. so you can be a real street racer. why dont you do some motor work instead of slapping a fart pipe on
