Ive tried many diets and this one is the only one that worked for me. I stayed on phase one for about a month and then I moved to phase two for about two-three months. THen I went on phase three. Phase three actually became a lifestyle for me. Now, I know how to eat healthy and the foods that are good for this diet are very good for you. I lost 15 pounds on this diet within the first four months then stayed at that weight. Yes, I do eat things that I love, like a cheesesteak or dessert here and there, but I do it in moderation. If I decide to eat something like that, I will eat phase one foods for the next few days. But the thing is, I actually like the foods on this diet, and you will have to also in order to succeed. If you really want to change your eating lifestyle for the better, definitely do this diet.

The South Beach Diet is the lower fat cousin of the Atkins Diet.

While you will lose fairly well in the first 2 weeks, the overall carbs of the program are too high for fast weight loss.

Overall, a good higher-but-still-low carb program.

The South Beach Diet restricts the consumption of carbohydrates, especially carbohydrates from processed foods like bread and white bread. It restricts consumption of saturated fats found in fried food and encourages use of unsaturated fats containing omega oil. It allows regular meals and snacks. I found good information on south beach diet at at http://toloseweight.org/southbeachdiet.html

Hi,
I've tried all different diets, and the weight loss is only temporary. I finally tried diet pills on the market are made from Hoodia. I saw this stuff on ABC News. It's all natural and safe, and it works! My wife took it for a month and dropped 20 pounds. I took it for a month and lost about 13 (but I didn't exercise).

I bought the natural hoodia from this website: http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php . I checked the web site address so I can post it here and I saw they're running a promotion now to get a free 2 week sample for only $4.97! I'm going to order this supply for my wife and give it to her for Christmas =)

I agree with the person who posted above with the screen name Kathy J. I bought Hoodia from that same website (yes, it really is only $4.97 for the 2 week sample). This stuff rocks - best part is, this is all natural. Can't beat that!

It will work if you consistently follow the directions but the results will diminish once you stop following the diet.

Fad diets generally don't work and aren't worth bothering with.
