Try switchnig brands and styles of sippies. Some have different feels. Softer spouts and better suction systems.

Also, avant sippy cups fit most of the avant bottle tops, so you can get her used to the size and feel of holding a sippy, while helping her get the milk she needs.

My youngest brother went rhough this, he would only drink apple juice after he was about 10 months old. We dont know why, but because of it his tooth enamal rotted on his baby teeth.

If all else fails you might have to return to a regular bottle until she gets the hang of it.

When I switched from the breast to milk in a sippy my daughter drank almost nothing for a day or so. But then she got thirsty and she drank. I would get a variety of sippy cups and see what she likes. Stop feeding her with the spoon and I would also call your pediatrician or a nurse line. The spoon feeding is just giving into her. What about a straw cup??

Some kids are particular about what sippy they like. Also let her try a cup -- with a small amt of liquid.

Seems like she should be beyond cereal at 11 mos. Does she finger feed and eat other foods? THere is a lot of water in baby food -- esp commercially produced ones, but you she needs more liquid.

first off do u give her any adult food i.e. bannanas pears etcyou can try fruits that are easliy chewed or mashed and let her try to feed herself. As long as she has 5-8 wet diapers a day she is ok try giving her some juice(gerber juice) Most docs tell you no whole milk till 12 months but mine were always on milk before then. You can try whole milk just make sure you give her a vitamin supplement everyday

Will she not settle for formula in a bottle? She's nonetheless youthful, and perhaps desires extra time for the sippy cup. putting the cup consisting of her different toys can get her used to hoisting it round (not something in it yet) so as that with time she'll attempt to drink out of it. I wasnt completely confident if it replaced into the milk (and the following i'm assuming you're nonetheless utilizing formula) she is rejecting or the tactic of ingestion IE Spoon, bottle, cup. Do you provide her greens in purées? if so, you may want to upload milk into her purées fairly of water so as that she receives extra milk that way. you're good to characteristic in yogurts if she isnt ingesting sufficient milk - that is nonetheless necessary at her age, about 0.5 her energy must be formula or milk products which incorporates yogurt. i might want to save providing by the day a touch bit water if you're anxious about your daughter turning out to be dehydrated, yet i imagine if she replaced into thirsty than she might want to drink. Does she nonetheless fill an similar variety of moist diapers? have you ever considered any signs and indications of dehydration, like dry mouth, dry skin, more effective fussiness, darkish colored urine, etc? My niece hasn't ever been a huge milk drinker both, there are little ones who're like that. in the journey that your female is gaining weight nicely sufficient, and doesnt instruct any signs and indications of dehydration, attempt now to not rigidity no matter if she isnt ingesting as a lot as different little ones. that is likely purely what she desires, as each and each and every toddler is diverse.

Try giving her fruit juice, like apple; way diluted with water; like a bottle of water with a few ounces of juice to flavor. My kids liked this.
