What grade are you in?
umm...isn't that like asking someone's age?
How long have you been homeschooled?
4 years
Why are you homeschooled?
The public middle school that I had been attending before hand, now has a lot of gangs and violence, most of my old friends are either pregnant, or deeply depressed. My last school failed me with not giving me a solid education. Now I'm in a on-line public high school, so in a way I'm home schooled and in a way I'm not. I'm a lot better off where I'm at now.
Do you have alot of friends?
By the way...a lot is two words.
Well, the school I'm in was designed mostly for trouble makers, but I'm not a trouble maker. Due to this, the kids have no interaction with each other, unless we are taking achievement tests in the same room.
From my last school I still have many friends. I do not have a best friend, but I think that is because of where I live. I am closer to my family due to being in the school I'm in. Family lasts forever so I'm thankful to have a good relationship with my family.
Are they homeschooled?
My brother is, but most of my friends are not homeschooled. I think that about 12 of my friends are homeschooled, they are all in different schools than the one I'm in.

I'll answer on behalf of some homeschoolers I know well:
15yog--grade 10; 4th year homeschooling; school was a nightmare socially and academically (they were going to put her into a learning disabilities school, yet she managed, three years of homeschooling later, to get a standard of excellence in writing on a school district writing test in grade 9 and met grade level in the same district's reading test); she has a number of friends, only one is homeschooled
my 9yo dd--grade 4; has always been homeschooled; homeschooled because her parents are teachers who don't like what's going on socially in the schools here and because it wouldn't be a good academic match for her; she has some good friends--all are homeschooled except for one
my 6yo ds--grade1; has always been homeschooled; he marches to the beat of a different drummer and school would not be a good fit for him right now; he has some friends--2 of them are homeschooled

I'm in ninth grade, I've been homeschooled all my life except for part of fourth and fifth grade, I'm homeschooled because I learn better on my own and do better socially in a environment that's not run over by hundreds of gossiping teenagers, I have alot of wonderful, very close friends, and almost all of them are homeschooled.

I just graduated high school
I've been home schooled all my life
My parents homeschool us cause they didn't want us to do the things they did in school...lol actually there are way to many reasons to put down here
I have plenty of friends!!
I have a lot of friend who are homeschooled, but probably more that aren't, because of the simple more people go to school than are homeschooled...I will have to admit that my homeschooled friends are a lot more kind and caring than my public or Christian school friends

my daughter who is 11 and my son who is 9 have both been homeschooled for a year now.
There are many reasons I chose to homeschool them:
- there is too much bullying going in the schools
- I was tired of the head lice they regularly brought home with them
- I didn't agree with the way things were taught and with some of the things that were being taught
- My son's learning style was not being catered for
- My daughter's teacher played 'favourites' and this was a great source of frutration for my daughter who received very little praise from her teacher because she was not one of his 'favourites'.
- I'd had enough of paying for something different each week (excursions, special performers, fundraising, textbooks, gymnastic classes) for education that is supposed to be free.
Yes they do have friends and many of them are other homeschooled kids who live in our local area and who are part of our local homeschool support network.

8th (I don't know my multiplication)
Home schooled all my life and I hate it.
Cause my parents think I'm stupid enough to lose my virginity, get bullied, and have bad grades.
No, I don't have many friends. I don't hang around other kids that often.
Most of the "few" friends I have go to school.
