My mom was a downwinder to the A-bomb tests, she died of cancer three years ago. Her three kids didn't show any birth defects, but some of our kids do. My niece was born without her hand and arm below her right elbow, my nephew produces no growth hormone and my son has an extra bone in his foot (we had the extra toe removed) and had hypospadia (also surgicallly fixed). So the question is are we unlucky or is it related to the radiation? Do you know any websites with statisical information about this type of thing?

You will find all sorts of information by searching "Chernobyl radiation effects." It's looks rather interesting & so I'm going to read it all now. It gives many different web sites to chose from.
