Your wrong there is no god. So what? It's better to know you are wrong so you can learn and become right than to stick your fingers in your ears, shut your eyes and shout "La la la not listening nope not listening to you la la la!!!"

You just answered your own question, most people come to faith out of fear, whether they know it or not, so of course they would be afraid of being wrong.

Why are atheists so fearful of being good, for this reason they proceed to attraction to close around the Christian appropriate boards everywhere in the internet hoping to stumble on some information that they are incorrect of their heresies. you are able to no longer detect a single atheist appropriate website, which is composed of usenet's talk.origins, it particularly is so inundated with Christians. Why? with the aid of fact the lack to right reason that clouded our judgment earlier we grew to grow to be Christians has been lifted via God's divine grace. So each and every time I see a flippant reaction or question from an atheist in those boards, I thank God those unlucky souls are nevertheless attempting to stumble on an answer which will help them reject the foolishness of their ideals and movements.

A person could ask the same question of you. An even better question might be, "How certain are you that there is no God?" Assuming you don't have all the knowledge that exists, is it possible that God could exist in the knowledge that you do not possess?

God can exist in many ways. He can be an experience, a virtue, or even an idea of peace can be equated with god. So its not about who is right or wrong but about what puts you on the right path. Perhaps god means nothing to you, but it means something to others, even if you don't understand.

You are wrong, there is a God, and He loves you very much. You can stick your fingers in your ears all you want, but that will not help you when He asks why you did not love Him back.

Why are YOU so afraid of being wrong?

What if you're wrong once human? is another human righter than you? Jesus doesn't believe so - he in his great wisdom loves us all equally and assumes that we work as a team to understand the common good that we assume to be His name also. He's just the man who heard where we live along with us?

I know this sounds very selfish, but if I am wrong, I lose nothing. I die, and then nothing. I am fine with that. But lets see what happens if you are wrong. I may live a life in vain, but you may spend eternity in a very bad place.

Theists often believe that they have souls which exist eternally and that that eternal existence can be rather nasty (hell) or perfectly blissfull (heaven). So, in short, they have more at stake in being right or wrong than your typical Atheist.

What?

When it comes to religion, it's pointless to try to argue who is right and who is wrong... because no one is. To each his own. If someone needs to believe in god, I'm fine with that. I don't need it and don't believe there is one and that's fine too.

As an atheist, you are embarassing me.
