Thanks for helping i really appreciate it
I am writing a application essay and it says it should be approximatly 250 words (it is not long) mine is 218. Do you think i sould add more or is that o.k.? Please HELP.

Thank you all! I really appreciate it. Now, i have 273, and i am afraid that it is too much. If i were to cut it down, what would i do to cut it down???

they would rather see you have too many words than not enough so what you need to do is hold on to you closing and add in a few more facts then replace your closing at the end you really have a good chance of being denied if you undercut you essay

It says approximately, so you should be good to go. you are only
32 words short of 250. If you can add a little more , that would be cool, if not you are fine..

Some people like people who go for the gold! Who are not scared to try harder! So you should write more. Did you brainstorm? Maybe that will help you get more ideas! =)
