I just the the movie Magdalene Sisters. I wonder has anyone seen it or done any research on the Magdalene asylums? What other crimes has the Catholic church committed?

the church used to sell indulgences which would save dead family members and themselves from slavery after death called purgatory. since these were very expensive, the rich were the only ones who could aford heaven.

I am sure that there are lots of Catholics that have committed many crimes. i am sure that there are many Protestant organizations that have committed crimes. There is going to be corruption and crime in nearly every group because people are parts of these groups.

If you study the teachings of the catholic faith, you will find that the people who committed these crimes are acting contrary to the teachings of the catholic faith. Or you can just simply state, "Ah, this is what Catholics do, so this is muct be what the Catholic Church teaches"
