I'm guessing dear papa is trying to teach you a lesson. If you pick A and basically make things worse, I guess he's got quite a few years to make things worse for you.
Plus, next 10 times he won't leave the ticket where you can get it - assuming he's even inclined to buy a ticket for you in the first place. Are you planning on getting a new video game between now and when you turn 18? Planning on watching TV or going out with your friends in the next 10 years? Were you expecting to be able to drive the family car while you still live at home?
Life is a matter of give and take, and planning for the long term. Either (a) he's too harsh, in which case you learn to wait until you don't have to live there or (b) he's right, and learning to control your mouth and temper can be a good thing.
Important lessons:
Being able to exercise self-control is always good.
Life isn't always fair, but it is life. Parents aren't always fair either, but you're stuck with them.
Nobody likes to listen to someone's whining.
Plan for the future, think things through.

Just skip the game. If you betray his trust after he specifically told you not to, you'll probably miss the next few "important" events as well. This is a test, don't flunk it or he'll screw you over big time. At 16, I once snuck out when my dad punished me and he took my car for about 3 months. THREE MONTHS!!!! I was so embarrased riding the bus to school everyday and needless to say I almost died. And the boy I snuck out for was so not even worth it!! He's trying to teach you that you don't always get what you want and you need to learn how to deal with dissapointment. If you wanted an expensive item you saw at the mall would u steal that too? Just show him u can be mature and ride it out.

Don't go-it is a punishment and you need to honor what your dad says.I have been in the same type of situation before-and sneaking out will only get you a worse punishment.Just suck it up-act like it is no big deal that you can't go-and maybe he will change his mind.

B, because if you do A you will get caught and what would be better, missing this one game or missing all of them for the rest of the time your living under his roof! Be smart save yourself the embarrassment of him showing up at the game and snatching you up. You were disrespectful, next time bite your tongue and just do whatever he said or whatever rules he puts in place. Even if you have to suck up all day, at least you'd be at the game.

Umm, dont see the game. Dont defy your parents like that. That is very disrespectful and you obviously did something to deserve that. Just take your punishment and get it over with or it will be worse for you later.
