We are taking their western carribean cruise soon and are wondering how it is. We are 26yrs old and are going with another couple. We are going in January. It stops in Grand Cayman and Ocho rios

I took my whole family on the Imagination last year - 8 cabins - it was their yearly presents all rolled-up into one. We went out of Tampa for 5 nights and had a great cruise.
The Imagination is one of Carnival's older ships, although she is very well taken care of - nothing seemed to be wearing out or in need of replacement. She only has about 20 cabins with balconys, and those are only in the suites, but even with her age, we found nothing lacking. The buffet gets crowded, but other than that I had no complaints. The food was OK - not great. The entertainment was the best of any ship I have been on - and we cruise at least twice a year, so that's a big endorsement. The bars and night clubs were a lot of fun.
By the way, you may not know that Carnival has the largest standard cabins of any cruise line - 185 sq. ft. compared to 155 - 175 on others.
Carnival delivered what it promised and we enjoyed our cruise, and I hope you do too!

I went on the Imagination this past April with my boyfriend and two other couples had a great time! I have some nice pictures of Grand Cayman but Ocho Rios wasn't all that great. You will have a great time!

I haven't ever been on Imagination but I have been on Valor. I was really impressed with the ship. It was clean, the crew were very friendly and helpful. Our cabin stewardess and head waitress were awesome. Our waitress made dinner every night so much more enjoyable, with all her stories. Carnival is a cruise line for everyone, enjoy your trip. The caribbean is beautiful!

Carnival are one of the best cruise companies for younger cruise passengers, I have been on a couple of cruises and they are not generally for our age group, you will find many younger travelers onboard a Carnival ship. I have included a link for some cruise review websites.

I went on the mind's eye this previous April with my boyfriend and a pair of alternative couples had a brilliant time! I truthfully have some great photos of Grand Cayman yet Ocho Rios wasn't all that super. you have a brilliant time!

not on that ship but i have cruised twice on carnival ships and i loved them so i dont think there will be any problems with ur ship hope you have fun
