Even as recently as the 19th century in Britain my wife to be would have had to have obeyed me, and done everything i told her. I could have beaten her if she disobeyed. I guess this all stems from religion. Thank goodness we have moved on.

I don't think it is that men have the bigger problem it is that thie Bible at least was written a long tome ago in the Middle East. ( a male dominated region) I stil think that the Bible is as relevent to women as to men

There was a time when EVERYTHING was tailor-made for men. Religions were no exception.
Of course, I'm not saying that's good. I'm saying that's how it was. I like this world better, in THAT sense.
