Religion and Men?

I was talking with afew girls and this question came up. When looking at different religions, does it not seem as if they were written for men? Is God trying to tell us something? Are the men the ones with the bigger problem?

Even as recently as the 19th century in Britain my wife to be would have had to have obeyed me, and done everything i told her. I could have beaten her if she disobeyed. I guess this all stems from religion. Thank goodness we have moved on.

I don't think it is that men have the bigger problem it is that thie Bible at least was written a long tome ago in the Middle East. ( a male dominated region) I stil think that the Bible is as relevent to women as to men

since all religions are actually written by men (claiming) to have the word of god at their disposal ... it's of no surprise they express the man's point of view.

There was a time when EVERYTHING was tailor-made for men. Religions were no exception.

Of course, I'm not saying that's good. I'm saying that's how it was. I like this world better, in THAT sense.

In the Bible when they refer to men, I think they are refering to the human race as a whole.

Because Man was made in the image of God... woman wasn't.

The proof is that no god or deity would want to have to sit down to pee.

Because men are awesome and all you women are our slave's so shut up and obey us, and make us food and clean the clothes

Certainly they have been written for mankind but there are stupid people whose thinking ability is less than an amoeba.
