Q: Tourism has been declared as an industry in many countries of the world and it is an important pillar of economy in many countries like Switzerland, France, Turkey, Austria, Maldives etc. Pakistan has got every thing that can attract millions of tourists around the world. Unfortunately, we are not receiving considerable number of visitors since we have not marketed the image of Pakistan as one of the best tourist resort on the earth. In order to attract the international tourists how you will present the picture of Pakistan as a best place for tourism?

Pakistan is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Pakistan enjoys all four season. it has all kind of attraction to the tourists. But they need to take care of those important places first. You can take following steps.
1) Identify your places first. ) First of all you need to explore the possible tourists resorts. Make a note of all these locations. than one by one try to imporve those locations.
2) Easy Traveling) From a big city, try to make comfortable roads so that tourists can reach those places easily. From Islamabad to SWAT , it is a 8 hours drive, but if the roads are double and wide than it can easily be cut short to 3 or 4 hours.
3) Imporve the locations) make sure that ur locations are near to nature, and no dust is around it. foreign tourists dont like dust.
4) creat public awareness) project your country as safe and sound place to visit. arrange special seminars and funtions to project ur country's beauty.
5) Securtiy) nothing to say about it ,all knows better

well thats the dilemma that we face today..!
thanks to the lethargic and slow planning of out dear ol' government we are unable to present tourism as an industry to the world..

i see ads from azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, singapore, malaysia, armenia, india and many other countries on cnn asia but i cant see a single ad from pakistan...

i was actually amazed to see a recent mobilink ad that could've been a perfect TourismPakistan ad.. pity that the tourism ministry doesnt give a damn to the issue..

we have got scenic beauty, one of the highest peaks in the world, amateur ski resorts, hiking facility, blue beaches, deserts and ice-covered himalayan mountains.. what else do you want!!

Do you have nice beaches? Does liquor flow freely? Is it friendly to Americans and Western Europeans? Fine dining? Sanitation? Why would we want to go there? What does it offer?
