How many hours does a seven (7) year old need?

10 hours. Once my childeren reached school age we had the 8:00 rule on school nights until they reached middle school. Remember....parents also need some wind down time at night...so if there are issues with your child going to bed at 8:00....start the whoile process at 7:00...bath at 7:00....story time at 7:30...and no excuses...bed at 8:00

9 to 10 hours a night. Once they reach teen years they can do well off 6 to 8 a night.

at least 10 hrs and they have to be regular.
