That is word for word, but it's hard to do anything else without throwing in a verb of some sort and I don't know what you would want there - either the verb itself or the conjugation person or number.

It pretty much goes word for word, as you can see from what you've gotten from everyone so far. It is so short and simple that it translates straight across. Rare, but not unheard of. Promissa is another word you could substitute for promises, if you like the shorter word. Or pollicitationes, if you prefer a tongue twister.
