Remember it is not a game - joining the army is a very serious move. You are clearly still young if you are leaving school now - i would say if you have any doubt at all then you should not join, you can join in a year or two if you work out this is the right for you and not because it is what your friends are doing!
Be true to yourself - do what you feel is right for you.

I wouldn't advise you to do that. I just feel that you are putting your life at risk and you are so young. There's much more to do than go to the army. I'm really scared for those who join, bt it is your choice and you have the last say.
Whatever decision you make, good luck and take care.

I don't see why everybody's going 'ohhh, you're stupid, it's so dangerous'.
Yes. So is crossing the road. So is a country without an army. If they want to do it... don't try to stop them. It's an admirable thing for someone to want to do, and they deserve a lot of respect if they carry it through. But don't feel like you have to do it to keep up with them. There's plenty of ways you can benefit society outside the army.

Email them with the poor grammar that you have now..... they will see that stupidity is OK is most situations..... and maybe they will stay and hang out with you and you all can bask in your ignorant bliss.
You don't have to join the military if you don't want to. Don't do it because your friends are doing it. You are going to regret being owned by your country for x amount of years if you don't want to do it..... especially if you doin't want to do it. You, my friend, have got to get an education though! Your spelling of words, as well as your grammar, is terrible. Assuming you are either British or Australian (because you keep using the term "mate"), I know that their spelling and grammar is extremely similar to that of America. Go to school, mister!
