And if faith is the only way to know god. THen how can you say what faith is wrong or right? Isnt god a personal relationship? Just wondering

You are wise way beyond your years. The Truth is within when we listen to our hearts we Know the Truth. Ther is nothing about us that is not God. There is nothing outside of us that is not a reflection of this truth. The external is the internal manifested so we can look at ourselves to love and forgive ourselves and then love and forgive everone else. We need to be the spiritual warriors. Not with guns and bombs with understanding and integrity to God and ourselves. To thine ownself be true.

Faith is a latent human ability but is really not something that everybody has. It is a gift of God given in different portions. Confidence and faith are not the same thing; although confidence follows on faith.

Belief (except in limited context) and faith are not the same thing. In fact their isn't a really clear definition of faith in Websters or Wikipedia.

If faith is your belief system, as in is for the vast majority of the world today, then of course it is yours alone; and that is just the problem; it has nothing to do with God.

God is know first of all by revelation through His written and spoken Word, Christ Jesus. This is by divine calling and has nothing to do with a so-called religious "faith" -- thought by many to be huff and puff belief.

"It is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy." Romans 9:16. You need the revelation of this sentence or faith, as most understand it, is worthless.

The Bible says you are saved by grace through faith - the grace and faith are both provided by God - it is nothing we do ourselves:

Eph 2:8-9

8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

What?? To be saved you have to have it through faith in Jesus Christ... That the only way. Christians know this is the only way because the bible teaches it.

Faith in anything else would be wrong... and wouldn't get you to heaven...

your faith alone doesn't save you, it's what you have faith in. faith is not the basis of christianity......God's grace is. Without God's grace, there would be no faith. Ephesians 2:8 says "For it is by GRACE you have been saved through faith......"

Yes we as Christians are to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, believing without proof that He is the Son of God, and that He did rise from the Grave and is alive to this very day, and He will return one day to gather up those who have this Faith.

In His Holy and Precious Name, Jesus Christ

fyre sweetie ...

biblically you have to accept Jesus as your saviour to qualify for a place in heaven
but
please remember that is only one religion out of many that teach this ...
it doesnt make it the truth ... but only the truth for those who believe this
you take what makes sense to you and only that ... God knows your heart and I am sure respects that you are an intelligent logical person that has to do what your heart tells you is right for you xx
