I sqaush it if it is a nasty bug like a spider, or roach. If it is a nice bug like a rolly polly or a lady bug I pick it up and put it outside or on a leaf or something.
Why would I scream they are a millionth of the size I am lol. What could they possible do to me? (besides a spider, he could bite me that's why I squash him....the only spider I don't kill is a daddy long leg, : )
I think a lot of girls scream because it is a way to asert their feminine side, and they have been programmed to act terrified of bugs to allow the masculine sex to "rescue" them. Or they are just trying to over play the "girlyness" to get attention.
I dunno.

Depends on the bug, but I generally don't scream. If it's in my house, I get my husband or son to capture it and set it outside.

I wish people wouldn't squish them... particularly spiders. Spiders are crucial in the food web.

We scream so someone will make it go away so it doesn't touch us.
