I will read it unless/until I find it to be irrelevant. Then I will ignore it.

Normally people who quote the bible seem to think that the longer their answer is the better it will be. Most of the time it doesn't even answer the question properly. I don't mind hearing scriptures from the bible because SOMETIMES, they do make sense, but I would rather hear it in their own words.

How I see them: To tell you the truth, people who respond with scripture just come off as being "trained" to regurgitate answers to our questions. It looks bad on them as they don't appear to have even given any real thought to the question and are simply giving a standard answer they are "programmed" (for lack of a better word) to give.
Most of the scriptures posted I've already seen, so I generally skim over the first few words and then ignore the rest.

I believe in God. But I'm not a christian, I believe Jesus was an amazing enlightened being, but i don't believe everything in scripture. The problem that exists between most non-Christians and Christians is the fact that non-Christians believe the bible teaches separation, intolerance, and dogma that is harmful to spiritual growth of the human race.... Your beliefs are your own, My beliefs are my own, please quit telling me I will burn in hell for all eternity because the bible says so (that is your belief not mine). that is were most of the anger lies.... there are alot of religious scriptures from various religions that say alot of things... I read the answers in scripture, i just take the answer as one persons interpretation...

I've always found that rather pathetic. If you want to include a small snippet of scripture, whatever, but answering a question by quoting something few people regard as valid is useless. I rarely read anything copy/pasted past the first few lines, unless it is particularly interesting or contradictory.

I don't ask any questions but when I read answers to others' questions and see a long cut and paste, I'll ignore it AND vote a thumbs down.
What, can't they give a cribnotes version? Maybe something in their own words that can paraphrase it down to a few sentences with a reference?
They may have good intentions but their way of going about it just wastes time. They don't care to offer it up in their own words and it just seems insincere to copy and paste cos they're just preaching.

Personally I enjoy seeing the Scripture, it gives a basis for there belief, but they do need to give some personal impute. Just Scripture might mean they have no opinions of there own which is not good.

I never read the answers that people paste in from the bible. If I wanted to read the bible, I would have. I would rather have people respond with their true feelings, not just something some other person wrote.

I normally don't read it. I don't post questions here to get scripture shoved down my throat. I would much rather people tell me their own views, and then maybe post the book, chapter & verse so that I can look it up on my own if I so desire.

I rarely read anything with scripture. In my opinion, the bible is mostly fiction.

I ignore it. The Bible was written by a group of superstitious Bronze age farmers and shepherds. Their opinion doesn't matter to me. I've read the Bible several times before, and the amount of murder within is horrifying.
