How do you shut down the devil?

I think my uncle is demon!!! He claim to be a preacher, but he is doing things a preacher should not do....How do you shutdown a devil who preaches the word of God? Its not right or fair to those who trust in him or maybe they don't trust him, but having Bible study with him is their way of praying for him because they know he is not right!!! How do you cast that demon out of him without hurting anyone else?

Not all who stand behind the puplit was called their by God.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Study the word of God daily, and you cannot be misled by any false prophets or false teachers.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

If you all know that he is not living according to the word of God and does not have his own house in order, you all need to tell him that as a group and letting him feel shame for his deceit.

Hebrews 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

There are many false preachers that are doing Satan's work. We are to mark them and avoid them. Romans 16: 17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. James 4: 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

You cant,hes got to let it run its course,since he's probably making his own decisions,if he was under Demonic forces,you would definatly see it and so would others,if hes abusing the station of life hes been given or choosed well he'll have to answer for this before God,you can only change yourself with God and not others.Others will only change by the example you project.God is all,people are just people,and whether for good or whether for evil they're all in Gods plan

Do it in private. You must be born again and Have the Holy Ghost and you will have power to cast out demons. We need to call for one day nationally to cast demons out of preachers. The devil has envaded them. No really they have never been born again. We must have the Holy Ghost to be born again. If our spirit is all we have in us where is the power to change or cast out devils?The Spirit of God has to come in us. That is the only way we will change.

I hope for your sanity you use the word devil metaphorically..
Buffy deals with demons men only sculpt them for their entertainment value ...But people are good bad or indeferent ,not demonic or angelic except on haloween.What has he done other that preach the lunacy of religion which people eat up quicker than politics or hotcakes.Take him with a grain of salt!
If he actually does anything wrong just alert the Police.

Depends on what he is preaching , Is he preaching that Jesus is Lord and the only way to heaven ,then hes doing right ,but if hes adding anything to the blood then yes he could be bound by a demonic spirit

There is only one way to rid yourself of a demon, or an incubus as they are called by the holy people.

You must obtain holy 6 knives from a priest.

When your uncle is praying, stab each knife into his chest until all six are buried. The spirit will rise from his earthly form and float away. Have ready a plastic bag to trap the spirit.

Place the plastic bag in the correct garbage bin for plastics as they can be recycled.

Hi Danielle, it is highly unlikely that he is possessed by the devil, actually possession is quite rare and needs a skilled Priest or Minister to discern this, it is more than likely that your Uncle has gone in too deep and sees everything as Hellfire and damnation, this is a lot more common than you know and is the cause of people deserting their faith.
perhaps you have access to another sound Minister whom you can confide in and get advice.

Not everyone is an ordained exorcist because dealing with demons is a serious thing; only God can call you to that, which is why you should pray. Just pray over him and God will help you.
