during hitlers reign over germany he had many difffernt branches to do specific things... the luftwaffe was the air force the SS fought in battles and killed jewish people primarily and the gestapo was a police force with no rules.... you had no rights when dealing with the gestapo they murdered or imprisoned anyone who was even thought to be against his veiws or hiding jewish people (etc.)

it was the nazi's secret police. they were ran by Heinrich Himmler who happened to be a chicken farmer before he joined the nazi party. which is kind of fitting since they were secret and brutal he was the head chicken
