Yes. This reminds me of a post yesterday that claimed the Quran knew about the individuality of fingerprints. It merely mentioned tips of fingers and did not say anything about each person's being different yet the poster made it out that it was some sort of prophecy. It's kind of sad, really, when one feels the need to resort to these kinds of things in order to prove the validity of their religion. In the end it just makes it seem more foolish.

The Bible and the Qur'an are religious books given by God to his prophets. Within its pages are not scientific theories based on facts, but revelations given to prophets. This revealed knowledge is for believers to use for their benefit, not a conversion manual.
God reveals, man observes. This simple phrase separates revelation from science. For example, you hear the phrase "prove that God exist" where God as defined by revelation.
From the first five books of Moses [Moses is the prophet in the case], we learn that God existed before he created everything we can observe. This means any scientific theory explains facts where a fact on something we can observe. However, God existed before in a place {heaven?) we cannot observe. There are no facts about God. In short, science can not prove or disprove the existence of God. [Note: A branch of philosophy [Logical Positivism] would consider this question meaningless, since it is outside the scientific method.
What about religious texts, surely they can proof the existence of God. Surprisingly enough no. The texts assume the existence of God. God did not reveal any proof of his existence, it something for the believer to take on faith.
I will leave you with one strange [interesting] philosophical question: Can God created a rock that he cannot lift. This simple question probes the nature of God. If God can create a rock he cannot lift, then God is not all-powerful because he cannot lift something. On the other hand, if God cannot create the rock, then again God is not all-powerful. This is Aristotelian logic, the basis of all scientific observation. Something is or is not, either true or false. There are other possibilities such as something is true, false, neither or both. So which is it? Surprisingly again, God did not reveal an answer.
I have tried to address the heart of your question regarding scientific theories within the pages of the Bible and the Qur’an. We work in two belief systems on based on reveal knowledge and based on observed knowledge. What is revealed to us may not correspond to what we can observe. Scientific theory such as “big bang” and evolution seem at a glance to contradict the revelations, but science is a Western point of view and the religious texts are Eastern. The big bang may correspond to Genesis 1:1 and evolution seems to ask the question if Adam and Even were immortal beings, how long were they in the Garden of Eden. In addition, could Adam be the missing link? Both are interesting questions, but sadly both are meaningless.

GOD for this reason sends off track whomever He wills, and courses whomever He wills. None is familiar with the warriors of your Lord different than He. this could be a reminder for the people. present faith is bolstered, which turn into already there.

Someway Job has things that scientists said did not exist until the 1900's. Was that just an educated guess back 2,000 years BC +/- ? That was back at the time when men were afraid to go out too far in a boat because they would fall off the earth. Do you think those things were a guess?

People make them miraculous through the application of the teachings. As the saying goes, miracles happen everyday; not the grandiose turning of bread into wine but simple miracles like the birth of a normal child to the world. Like being able to forgive someone who has done you wrong; that is already a miracle in itself.

Heh, why do they take the "predictions" of the bible as miraculous, but then turn around and say that the crazy $h*t (earth being flat, etc.) is just metaphor or a reflection of the only things they knew at that time?
They pick and choose what will make their belief sound legitimate, and conveniently ignore the stuff that makes it sound ridiculous.
