are they good for breakfast? I was going to make one with apples, orange juice, ice, and maybe banana if i have it.

Of course, they are great for breakfast. Instead of orange juice, try throwing an orange in there and a little more ice. The more natural the more better tasting. MMMM!! Also, be thinking about the other food groups for breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day. Try having a piece of toast and an egg with it. Also, if you are a busy metro-style chic, take a glass of it, or even save a cup from Jamba Juice, and make a lot and leave it in the fridge for when you get home or the next day! YAY, I love fruit smoothies, have fun!

I have fruit smoothies often for breakfast. I freeze my fruit ahead of time, like bananas, strawberries, and my favorite...blueberries. That makes your smoothie nice and thick. I add lowfat milk, and plain vanilla yogurt, and a spoon of Splenda to sweeten it up. I also went out and bought soy protien, and I add a scoop to the blender. It's high in protien, low in fat, and super yummy!

they are really good for breakfast. try putting some plain or fruit flavored yogurt in yours, too. that will really make it healthy.
