I recently started talking to a 22 year old, female, divorcee. Unknown to me I thought her divorce had occured a while ago so thought she was ready to date. I asked her out and we catched a movie and got to know each other. After that I asked her out again but she didnt feel like going out that particual day. One night she calls me and completely opens up. It turns out that her seperation occured only a month ago so she is still getting through it all and going through the emotional roller coaster. I figured I might as well tell her how I feel about her, too. So I did. I exlained to her that eventhough Id like her and would love to get to know her more, Im going to back off and give her all the space and time she needs. She said that when she felt better, she'd ask me to go out. I really like this girl but I dont know what to do. Am I waiting in vain? Will she really go out with me again? Any advice anyone can give will greatly help me.

There's only one way to find out if she wants to go out with you again and that's by calling her up and ask her. She might still be confused of how she's feeling towards you, so just give her more time, like not more than a month. If she doesn't respond to you within a month or two, then you should move on to date somebody new. But I might be wrong, see everyone's different. That's why communcication is important. You'll never really know the right answer. We can only assume how's she's feeling and what she might end up doing. Did you ever ask her if she still has feelings towards her ex? If she still has feelings towards him, then don't bother to go out with her, you can end up getting hurt by her going back with her ex.

You made a right choice to not resume this relationship at this time but you dont know when that time will come to where she is free and ready to move on. If I were you I wouldnt wait around you can still date other women and if you arent commited to one of them by the time this other girl takes care of her business then you can always see if she still wants to be with you. Dont let life pass you by your young and you need to live it. I hope that you get your chance with her and wish you the best. You are such a good man for backing off I have lot of respect for a man like you she will be a lucky lady!

Now this can go many ways, Do you have the time, to wait for her to get herself together? this is something that you need to ask your self. because she may be interested or not. If you care about her, wait a while, and you will know when to move on!

try to meet her more, get to know her , she need a shoulder to cry for , be there, just listen to her and try not to express ur love so soon, show her that u r there for her and u care for her, and she is not alone in this sad phase of life

I think she's being honest. In the meantime date others. If it's meant to be it will happen.

I would not hold my breath, it may take her awhile. But if she really found you attractive, you may hear from her eventually.
