one reason is i have been sold lighters before and one time i went to walgreens and they sold me a zippo but i forgot to get fluid and so i went in and got fluid and i didnt go to the same cashier and the person said i cant sell that to you. i was like wtf you sold me a zippo but not fluid. That makes no sense you dumbass

It's at their discretion. Like if you wanted to buy three dozen eggs, they might not let you.

It is illegal to sell lighters in most states..you can buy matches though..dunno about lighter fluid.

Depends on the city/state. Some cities have by-laws in place that forbid stores from selling spray paint, eggs and gravol to youngsters.

Lighters ,adult products,tobacco,alcohol,lottery tickets,rolling papers,matches ... and any vice paraphenallia can not be possessed by minors in NC ... you should e-mail the business!

If it isnt, it should be. What with all of the flamable gasses down in the mines, selling them lighters would just be courting a catastrophe.

who ever sold it to you before violated the law. cigarette and all his relative cannot be sold to minors.
