Hi ! The hebrew alphabet has 22 letters.
The first nine , (aleph to tet) , correspond to the numbers 1-9.
The next nine, (yod to tsadik), correspond to the numbers 10-90
The last four, (kof to tav), correspond to the numbers 100-400.
If ,for instance , you would want to write the number "19" in gematria you would write it as "yod tet", or (ten nine).
If you were to write the number "591" , you would write it as "tav kof tsadik aleph " , or (400 100 90 1)
The letters and corresponding numbers are as follows:
aleph - 1, bet - 2, gimel - 3 , dalet - 4 , he - 5 , vav - 6 , zayin -7 ,
chet -8 , tet - 9 , yod - 10 , kaf - 20 , lamed - 30 , mem - 40, nun - 50 ,
samech - 60 , ayin -70 , pe -80 , tsadik - 90 , kof - 100 , resh -200 ,
shin - 300 , tav -400 .

Here's a good beginner's source:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gematria
Keep in mind, it's not possible to calculate a non-Hebrew name or word into its gematria number unless you've translated it into Hebrew first.
Peace.

Well..if you add the Hebrew #s that are assigned to each of the words in Isaiah 19:19...which talks about an Alter to the Lord in the land of Egypt...and you measure the height of the Great Pyramid..their exactly the same..5,455. How cool is that?
