Lupus is an auto-immune disease - it attacks by tricking your body into thinking that it's own tissue is foreign matter that must be destroyed.

Autism is a developmental disorder.

The two can both be present in one person, but they are not linked, from any means that I can discover.

If you mean Lupus, systemic lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease. I don't think it has anything with autism but a person may have both. Check WEBMD.COM for more details.
