It's Homopathy the brand name is Boiron and it's found at a health food store it's called Mercurius virus it's the best. Or you can take a glass and put in sea salt lemon juice(fresh lemons) honey and fill with very warm water and stir and gargle but don't swallow. It's excellent.

I like using a combination of things - aspirin, zinc tablets, lozenges with phenol, and depending on what type of sore throat it is, either hot tea or Popsicles.
I will warn you to be careful about over the counter cold medications if you are taking any prescription medications. They don't always interact well together and may leave you feeling a bit psychotic. Ask your pharmacist about over the counter meds if you take other medications regularly - make sure it is OK to take them together.
