No, and it would not be gossip if you said it to their face. God bless, can you please change the subject or go and do your homework. Thanks for the two points. You are way to obsessed with this issue of gossip young lady.

Sadly, it tends to be human nature to want to talk about other people from time to time. I rarely have a problem with it, though, because I am by nature an independent guy that pretty much keeps to himself. I see very little reason to care about what so-and-so is doing or wearing or going or whatever. I pretty much just take care of myself and leave it at that. Now, that's not to say that I don't care about other people's problems, because I do, but that's another issue for another topic.
The only time I get suckered into gossip is when I'm with someone who likes to do it. I usually catch myself early on, though, which is good.

Yes, I do gossip about people when they are not present to hear what I say.
No, I do not tell lies when I gossip. I say what I know to be true, and if I speculate or offer opinion, I'm careful not to represent the speculations or the opinions as facts.

Yes, I do, but only to my husband, Grandmother, and best friend because I know what I say to them won't go any further and what I say is usually pertaining to their life. It isn't silly high school type of gossip. I think most adults talk about other people now and then but like I do. I seriously doubt we are talking about what they wore last week or the 5 pounds they put on. When I talk to my Grandmother I usually talk about my husband and I am talking about how mean he is and what a jerk he can be so this happens obviously when we are fighting. I tell my husband things that my Grandma says that hurt or bother me or that I think my cousin is a total idiot which he is. He keeps quitting every job he has and living off of his daddy and his g/f is doing the same thing because she lives with them. Plus he blows up at the g/f every chance he gets. (gossiping, LOL) I tell everything I say to Grandma and Hubby to my best friend and rarely have anything to say about him. If I have something to say about the best friend I just tell him because we have it like that. I do talk about the people in my life that I don't like and I don't care. I don't like my parents because they abandoned me so I can talk about them all I want. I don't like my uncle because he molested me so I can talk about him all I want. I don't like my ex husband because he cheated on me so I can talk about him all I want. I don't like the woman he married because she keeps calling me when she has problems in her marriage so I can talk about her all I want. I mean c'mon, I'm not Reba and she isn't Barbara Jean. Stop calling me, we aren't friends! LOL, Isn't that crazy? So, to answer your question, yes, I talk about other people just like everyone else and whoever said no, LIAR! You are probably talking about all of us online right now. Talking about "I can't believe all these people that gossip". Umm, that is talking about other people right there! LOL
