Each has gained a glorious grave-not in the sepulchre of earth wherein they lie, but in the living tomb of lasting remembrance wherein their glory is enshrined.
For the whole earth is the sepulchre of heroes. Monuments mat reise and tablets be set up to them in their own land, but their true memorialsare not written on stone or brass: they are graven in the heart of mankind.
Take these men as your example. Like them, remember that posterity can only be for the free and that freedom is the sure possession of those alone who have the courage to defend it
