For the whole earth is the sepulchre of heroes. Monuments mat reise and tablets be set up to them in their own land, but their true memorialsare not written on stone or brass: they are graven in the heart of mankind.
Take these men as your example. Like them, remember that posterity can only be for the free and that freedom is the sure possession of those alone who have the courage to defend it

Thank You for sharing that with us. We have all lost loved ones and in a lot of cases family members that we never knew and our lives are less enriched for that, but FREE.
freedom we have, thanks to those that paid the ultimate price as well as those who survived Thank You!

What a lovely thought for this special day. Whatever the rights or wrongs of wars & conflicts we should remember those who gave their lives for their country & for freedom.
