It tones the skin, helps smooth and blend unattractive marks and scars. It is also good for stretch marks and helps keep your skin from chapping. Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E is really good and WalMart sells it.

Cocoa butter is used in lotions, and it is a super-hydrating ingriedient. I use a cocoa butter cream in the winter time, and it leaves my skin super soft. Plus, I smell delicious! Everyone is always asking what perfume I'm wearing. lol. My favorite brand is Palmer's. They have a short tube, that has some shimmer in it, that makes you look like a rock star (or Beyonce). And, that is saying something for a little white girl like me.

actually, the most important thing that cocoa butter does is make GOOD chocolate melt in your mouth. the cheaper chocs use all sorts of vegetabe fats; palm oil, rape, corn, etc.
and, if you eat 'white' chocolate, an oxymoron if ever there was one, only the best of them have cocoa butter that is untreated and so will taste and smell like chocolate.
anything else is just a fringe benefit.

its just one of the many emollients available in skincare products....smells nice....be SURE to read the label; Palmers is a good brand, but check any lable to be sure cocoa butter is listed within the first THREE ingredients; if it's way down the list, forget it!!....you get what you pay for.............

It's relatively cheap and works really well. Smoothes wrinkles, fine lines, and stops dry skin - It conditions the skin, I think. A great buy!

softens the skin... heals it.. and sometimes, they say, it reduces the appearance of stretchmarks. but i think all it just helps with the pigmentation and softens up the skin.
