I doubt it. Ozone is a highly posionous element! Ozonated water is used in factories for washing fruit and veg but as far as I know it isnt used for drinking. Everything you can think of has be blamed for causing cancer at some stage! Im happy to drink chlorinated water, its better than the consquenses!!!

It might be possible that the chlorine and organic matter such as leaves and twigs in reservoirs can combine to form compounds that "cause cancer".

Even if this is true IT CANNOT CAUSE AN EPIDEMIC OF CANCER. Possible that it might "cause cancer" to such a small degree that it is almost immeasurable.

Some people are able to blow up on something (like this) when there is a grain or element of truth to it, and make it out to be a major scare.

The benefits of chlorinated water FAR outweigh any risks. Ozone is not without its risks, even if minor.

My guess is that you are responding to a fear campaign started by some group with a political agenda.

Chlorinated water is great. Fill you pool up with it. Swim in it,
but I wouldn't knowingly drink it.
